VALENTINO RED

Need ideas for holiday wear? Here's a lovely lady we found on the street (evidently we weren't the only ones noticing her look...[NY Mag did too here]). We've been eyeing the fabulous Valentino studded pumps for a while and when we saw her sporting them, they were oh so beautiful to behold in real life (you can buy those lovely things here, if you're ready to pay a bit for them)  Want a similar look for cheaper? BABY SHOWER

Since Desirae is getting ready to have her little girl in the "big apple" we decided her shower would be based around "baby in the big apple." We wish you could've seen Desirae's whole outfit better, but we'll just have to show you what she was wearing later. Also we're absolutely loving our friend Liz in the bird sweater near the bottom. VERY cool. Hope you enjoy a little peek into our lives this week!

STREET STYLE - EAST MEETS WEST

Here's a cool mixture of east meets west. The structured jacket and long skirt have quite the kimono feel (along with the choice of up-do). But the brown accessories break all of that up a bit. We also happen to think that jacket is pretty cool. It reminds us of Miranda Kerr and her Dries Van Noten jacket. Want something similar? Although it's not exactly the same, Gap has a pretty good look right now. 

BLACK ON BLACK

This is a look definitely inspired by all of the fall runway lines. There was so much black and use of leather (think Calvin Klein) that how could one not take note? So here's what's going on here...Desirae is wearing black leggings, a black tent dress, leather moto jacket and combo boots. We are LOVING this similar black swing dress from Asos here and for $26, they've got us sold (plus the white collar is pretty dang awesome). Throw on a leather jacket and some combo boots and go out on the town funeral style!

Burberry London epaulet dress

The key to this white dress is BLACK TIGHTS and awesome black shoes. Throw in a black studded clutch, some black leather cording tied in a bow (sold here or at craft stores), and you're totally rocking Burberry up top.
