We are loving these looks from Mango! We haven't usually been big fans of this brand, but these looks are changing our minds since the collection definitely reminds us of the edginess of Kate Lanphear. We are especially loving the length of the blazers. Aside from this, and although it's hard to choose, one of our favorite outfits is the chanel-looking jacket paired with the black sateen pants and lettered loose t-shirt. Do you guys have any favorites? Because we're also loving the leather and lace combo. You may find some of the looks recreated on these pages since we're definitely inspired....

A DAY ON THE ROAD
A day in the life of a musician can get kind of crazy. This outfit served many purposes the day it was worn. First, it was hot outside. Second, Melody had to be dressed for a Q&A for around 200 people, then she needed to be comfortable for a longer rehearsal that took up a bigger portion of the afternoon before changing into concert attire for the stage at night. We even had time to squeeze in this picture! (which, by the way, was taken by the stage door after a quick lunch.) This outfit definitely met the needs of our musician life that day. It was the seeming perfect combo of a bit of rocker while keeping it casual and hopefully classy. Roxy tee, vintage skirt, Kennicott quartz necklace, Forever 21 cuff and metallic sandals.

HANNELI AND TAMU IN VALENTINO
In case you missed it, this picture started circling around the internet right after the Valentino Couture show in Paris a couple of weeks ago. Both awesome bloggers Hanneli and Tamu (from All the pretty birds) attended the show wearing similar Valentino dresses. Even their bags and shoes were similar! And seriously, both are such awesome dresses that we couldn't resist sharing. We're so loving the cuts on these....

SAFARI SCHOOL GIRL
When we looked at these pictures for some reason the words, 'safari school girl' stuck. So we went with it. The skirt and cable knit sweater somehow brought images of the school uniform to our head, while the messenger bag and color combo sort of reminded us of safari wear. And what better way to mimic the safari feel of the Michael Kors Spring 2012 runway? We actually think the next time we pull this skirt out we'll go for the whole safari effect. We'll let you see the results!
Vintage cable knit sweater, Chinese boutique skirt, Forever 21 sandals, and boutique messenger bag.

KATE IN ROKSANDA ILINCIC
photos c/o Wenn
The Duchess looked stunning as usual in one of her repeat dresses by Roksanda Ilincic. She was attending the UK's Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of the Arts two nights ago when she decided to break it out again. The last time she wore this dress was on her U.S. visit to L.A, with her hair down (here). And of course, it surely is a great dress to repeat! It's totally classic, yet still current. We might need to find something similar....

ROCHAS RESORT 2013
So pretty right? Such a wearable collection. We say everyone should have a LWD (little white dress) like the one up top. Seriously, if you get a classic one, you will definitely wear it your whole life. We were also happy to see elements of this look of ours in the second look above. Although ours was paired with metallic and tights, the same sweat shirt like top could easily be paired with lace and sans tights. On the third look, we haven't yet taken part in the printed pants (because it is SO trendy at the moment and we'd rather spend money for more classic pieces), but we do like the ease in which they paired the pants again with the sweat shirt top. Further down, the lace dress is beautiful and you can find similar looks on Ebay like we did quite often. And finally, we love the last punk/50's look with the t-shirt and gown. Pretty cool.
