Look who it is! It's Clinton Kelly from TLC's "What Not To Wear"! And he's coming to the brand new Macy's at beautiful City Creek in Salt Lake this Saturday to do a presentation on his Spring must-haves for women of all shapes and sizes. He's also just wrapped up taking part in Macy's million dollar makeover that aired two nights ago where the winner Dylan Gold, an entrepreneur in furniture making, was given not only the big monetary prize, but also advice from designers in the business and a make-over from Mr. Kelly to help in his pursuits of winning. This is the second year the competition has taken place where Macy's has selected 3 finalists in home design, food, or fashion, from applicants on their Facebook page. Maybe we should apply in the coming years in creating a clothing line! Or maybe some of you should apply in the 3 areas of design. In any case, you should definitely come to see what Mr. Kelly has to say on Saturday. It's the perfect excuse to get down to City Creek and view the fabulous site. Oh and it's at the perfect time, 1pm. Looks like one of us may have an excuse to hit some of the shops.... (Oh, and we've been invited to cover the event, so make sure and say 'hello' if you make it out.)

COLORFUL CHIFFON
This has been one of our most favorite modest dresses lately. It seems that there is always room for chiffon when spring comes along. Although much of what was seen on the runways was a little less covered, we'd love to show you how designers have used the material beautifully; this dress from Jason Wu, this from Oscar de la Renta's collection, this from Chloe or this and this from Dior. We think colorful chiffon is just beautiful! So when we found this vintage dress on Ebay we were pretty excited. And really sometimes good things come to those who bid :).

COACHELLA 2012 FASHION - via Refinery 29
Thanks to Refinery 29 we all have some great shots of the style at the Coachella music festival this year. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the festival, it's pretty much a celebration of who's who in the music scene right now. You have everyone from the big bands of Radiohead and the Black keys, to other amazing bands like Beirut, M83, The Shins, and The Head and the Heart, to name a few. And since the festival has been on the rise in Palm Springs, you have a definite style that has emerged. It seems to be the music festival of choice to attend for photos of the laid back/hippie-esque style. We've loved viewing what goes on there every year. Maybe one year we'll actually get to make it down there....

MODEST LOOKBOOK - Emily Blunt in Carolina Herrera
It's strange that we see some of these looks on the runway and they all kind of blend in. This particular dress didn't necessarily stand out in Carolina Herrera's fall collection, but as soon as someone steps out wearing it, we can't help but think "Ooooh, I love that! Who is the designer?", not realizing that we've already seen it before. Regardless, we think Emily Blunt looks fabulous in it.

ALICE + OLIVIA - worn by Dianna Agron and Krysten Ritter
A look at the Fall 2012 collection...
Dianna Agron looked so cute in her Alice and Olivia sunflower dress on the set of The View the other day. The Actress Krysten Ritter also looked adorable in the designers' lace dress for the screening of her film "Don't Trust the B... in Apartment 23." Separate from those two looks, we figured we'd show you the most recent fall collection from Alice + Olivia since there were so many fun clothes featured. Although the make-up and hair is a bit too much for us, the clothing itself is beautiful. We love the shape and cut of the black and white printed gown up top. The print may be loud, but the make of the dress is perfect. The bottom lace dress reminds us of the lace dress we pinned on pinterest that Kate Middleton wore to an event earlier this year. All in all, beautifully tailored clothes.
