THE SWING COAT

This particular swing coat is older from Zara but you can get a pretty cool green military inspired one at Topshop right now here.  We're not gonna lie, you may have seen this coat on these pages already. It keeps popping up in different combinations once the colder weather sets in. And since this silhouette isn't going anywhere (the Sartorialist makes note of it here, but with skirts and here's another look), we decided to keep breaking it out. So pardon the repetition!

VALENTINO RED

Need ideas for holiday wear? Here's a lovely lady we found on the street (evidently we weren't the only ones noticing her look...[NY Mag did too here]). We've been eyeing the fabulous Valentino studded pumps for a while and when we saw her sporting them, they were oh so beautiful to behold in real life (you can buy those lovely things here, if you're ready to pay a bit for them)  Want a similar look for cheaper? Check out this dress here; pair with some shoes like this plus a leopard clutch, and you're ready to step into the holidays!

BABY SHOWER

Since Desirae is getting ready to have her little girl in the "big apple" we decided her shower would be based around "baby in the big apple." We wish you could've seen Desirae's whole outfit better, but we'll just have to show you what she was wearing later. Also we're absolutely loving our friend Liz in the bird sweater near the bottom. VERY cool. Hope you enjoy a little peek into our lives this week!
