I am channeling my inner True Grit with this look. I recently saw the film, True Grit, and was so inspired by the clothes and hair Hailee Seinfeld sported on screen that I had to recreate elements of her look up here at Sundance. Hailee wore a long wool overcoat, cinched in at the waist with a thick leather belt, hat, braids and boots. OK, so my version is slightly more urban, but I still like to think there is a bit of Old West fashion in there.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the hat!~how fabulous. Also loving the idea of cinching your coat with a belt, but the dilemma comes when its time to go inside. Its hard to look glamourous while unbuckling a belt, and then where do you put it? I guess hopefully your handbag is big enough!
