We thought this was a pretty fun collection. The Madmen, 60's look seems to always have a place these days. And yes, can you believe we're already into pre-fall 2013?

WINTER STRIPES

Time to take our stripes into the colder weather. Although this was taken on a warmer day (man our december has been mild) we've been wearing our jackets with thicker sweaters underneath and have been staying totally warm. So take your summer stripes, pair with blazers and ankle booties and you're set! Blazer and jeans are Zara, striped sweater is Forever 21.

LEATHER AND FUR

Let's keep the fur going this week (hehe). Here's a look from our archives, and yet it is still very much on trend. By the way, we're having a hectic week over here so we apologize for the more random posts. We will hopefully be back to our normal selves by Monday. So until then, hope your chrsitmas decorating is going splendidly (ours is not...neither of us have done anything. We are Grinches this year....).

FUR COLLAR

We must warn you, as you saw yesterday with the Derek Lam looks, the fur collar is about to get out of hand on these pages. Melody may be a tiny bit obsessive as of late. We talked about the emergence of the fur collar and "snood" last year, and we're so happy to feature the idea more this year. Wondering where to get something like this? Try here or here. DEREK LAM PRE-FALL 2012

Did we ever show you guys these? They've been our favorite for what seems like so long now (even though they only showed around this time last year). We think they are all super gorgeous. Do you guys have a favorite?

CAMPING AND HIKING WEAR FASHION

About a month ago, Melody, her husband and some family decided to brave the cold and go camping in the mountains. It was 70 degrees in the valley that day which spurred the insanity. Of course in the mountains it was not 70 degrees. At night it was even further from that. So here Melody is the morning after a VERY cold night (to which this little guy up top couldn't take it anymore and had to go home at about 2 a.m.). This is the hair she woke up with, so what you see is what you get. It doesn't look it, but she is wearing 3 layers of thermals under her leggings. Her hiking boots you've heard her talk about before, and have A LOT of wear (they're from REI here). The glasses are a lot of fun and are Quetee (and DEFINITELY hard to find, but perfect for hiking). Never again will we go camping so late in the season, but it was definitely beautiful.
