We're not sure how many of you watch Project Runway, but for the new season featuring designer "All Stars" (from previous seasons), the show picked Georgina Chapman as a judge. Georgina is the designer for Marchesa (for those of you unfamiliar with her work, just take a look at any red carpet event and her gowns are draped over myriads of celebrities). On the first show of the season Georgina showed up to judge in the cocktail dress featured at the top here (she wore it without the belt, which we sort of liked better). The whole time we could care less about what the designers on the show were doing... we were wondering where she got that dress! And sure enough it was from her 2012 Resort line which led us to the other beautiful gowns pictured. Yes there are elements that are not fully covered, but we thought the ideas were beautiful. Seriously, those fountain-esque sleeves are truly lovely. Oh and you should definitely check out the rest of the line here. It's kind of fun to guess which gowns may show up on the Academy Award red carpet. We have our picks....

ZARA JACKET
You can't go wrong with a classic, Chanel inspired jacket. I'm wearing Zara here but a very similar jacket came down the Pre-Fall 2012 Chanel runway. I know we always say this, but if you ever find a classic, Chanel inspired jacket in your price range, nab it!, because you will be wearing it for years to come. Jacket Zara, Shirt and belt H&M, jeans Urban Outfitters, boots thrifted.

SAG AWARDS
Jayma Mays in Reem Acra
Julie Bowen in Temperly
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy
Kelly Osbourne in Badgley Mischka
Gretchen Mol in L'Wren Scott
Emilia Clarke in Chanel
Michelle Williams in Valentino
Judy Greer in Collette Dinnigan
Tilda Swinton in Lanvin
Some of our favorites from the SAG awards on Sunday. It was definitely a night of cap sleeves!Yes some might be a bit low cut, or have too much of a boat neck, or might be a little too sheer, etc, but we always love viewing dresses like this because it inspires us to know that we can eventually get similar clothing with similar elements tailored for us in the future. Not every dress needs the same exact cap sleeve or neckline. Are there any that you would gravitate towards?

CRITIC'S CHOICE
Here are two of our favorite looks from the Critic's choice awards. Michelle Williams looked stunning in Chanel and Ahna O'Reilly (from The Help) looks serene in her dress by Honor. We also LOVED Charlize Theron's stunning Azzadine Alaia black dress...if only it covered more on the shoulders it would be perfect!

SILVER AND GOLD
How should one accent or accessorize a gold dress? Well, we think silver and gold look rather good together. And a leopard heel seems to fit right into the mix, too. Necklace Banana Republic, belt J.Crew, dress vintage, sweater and heels Forever 21.

THE PLAID COAT
We are crazy about the 60's shape on this plaid coat. The coat is a vintage find but feels so current, especially considering Aquilano Rimondi and Calvin Klein sent similarly shaped coats down their fall runways. Zara also featured a similar coat, which we have been totally eyeing, in their fall collection. Looking ahead, Stella McCartney just featured some major plaid in her pre-fall 2012 collection, so definitely keep plaid in your fashion radar now and going into next fall. Coat and blouse vintage, jeans Urban Outfitters, bag Aldo, booties Marco Santi.
