EBAY FUR

Last winter we fell in love with the looks all over the street style blogs during Paris fashion week. Fur seemed to be such a great accessory and so incredibly practical when you're trying to keep warm in such cold weather. I had been on the look out for a coat similar to those I had seen, but gave up as the warm weather set in. But then I found it...it was the first time I had ever shopped so incredibly out of season. I bought my ebay vintage fur coat in very late spring for $30. It came and I was kind of disappointed because my mind was definitely on to spring and summer. So I packed it away and thought maybe I'd get rid of it come Fall. Well let's just suffice to say that I'm so glad I didn't get rid of it! This particular coat is made from sheep fur and is so incredibly warm.We saw many similar looks all over the Michael Kors runway this season here, here and here. Also Fendi and Gucci showcased the shorter length fur jackets everywhere. We're excited to use ours in a monochromatic way like they have.  You'll definitely be seeing more of this coat later.

METALLIC PAIRING

We are loving the juxtaposition of evening wear with something a bit more casual over top. Pairing metallics with a rougher coat has just the right touch of glitz but cool. Tis the season of glamour so watch out for some looks of our own coming up! Until then enjoy Style.com's pairings here (under parka city).

AUTUMN NAUTICAL

We know nautical stripes seem perfectly natural in the warm months, but what about when the weather turns colder? We think the nautical theme still works in the winter months when paired with a camel colored coat and red belt. We also think a navy blazer would also look chic when trying to brace your favorite striped tee against the cold. Here, Zara coat, Target belt, and H&M striped long sleeved tee.

A BIT OF FUR

How does a regular girl interpret the fur trend for Fall without looking over-the-top or straight from 1988? We think fur at the collar lends just the touch of posh you're looking for; it doesn't scream luxury so loudly that you can't wear it out for a night with friends. H&M has a removable faux fur collar that you can add to your favorite coats and jackets, but the fur shown here is part of my new favorite sweater from Zara. Jacket and jeans Urban Outfitters, boots Forever 21.

ZARA NOVEMBER LOOKS

Loving these Zara looks of late. These images are lovely inspiration for how to look laid back and a bit edgy without sacrificing elegance. I have been wearing my button-up blouses with moto jackets for the last few months, and have been liking the look, but hadn't thought to wear a pencil skirt with the combo, as in the first image. So pretty. Also, I saw the ombre gown in person and it is really gorgeous. You could absolutely dress this full length gown up or down. You could wear it with a beaded belt and go very formal, or you could wear it in a more casual way as a maxi dress. Totally fab. Oh, and Zara is having a 50% off sale online today for Black Friday....so maybe you should think about doing some holiday shopping early...

RELAXED

Yes, the baggy trouser. We have quite the penchant for the chic, yet totally comfortable pant. Throw a baggy T and your favorite jacket on and you're ready to go. Laid back, casual, but with the perfect edge of tailored crispness. Break out of your jeans and baggy T uniform and try the relaxed trouser and T alternative. Also, red is quite the color for this fall/winter season and will instantly bring interest to neutral fall basics.
